Fortnite itself will not load in a school browser. Island Battle Royale does: a free, single-player battle royale served from fortniteunblocked.org — jump from the plane, loot the island, outlast the bots.
A battle royale for the tab you have, not the console you don’t
If you play Fortnite at home, you already know how this goes: bus, drop, loot, storm, last one standing. What you cannot do is play Fortnite in a school Chromebook's browser — Epic ships it for PC, consoles and phones, and the cloud versions need an account and a strong connection. So this site does not pretend. The old version of fortniteunblocked.org framed a copy of a Chinese battle royale and called it Fortnite; we kept that game, had it translated, serve it from this domain and label it for what it is.
Island Battle Royale was made by one developer, DiaoChangNan, and released on 4399 in 2018. Your battle bus is a plane: the screen says F Jump, you free-fall, F opens the chute. On the ground it plays like Fortnite's Zero Build mode would if it were made in a weekend — no walls to throw up, so cover means real walls, doorways and upper floors. The loot pool is military rather than cartoon: M4A1, AK47, SCAR and HK417 rifles, MP5 and P90 SMGs, an M249, the Kar98K and SKS, 2x/4x/8x scopes, three levels of vest, helmet and backpack, and a frying pan.
Everyone else in the lobby is a bot — 4 to 29 of them, Easy, Normal or Hard — so it runs without a server and without anyone else online. The zone closes on a timer, supply drops fall mid-match, there is a car, and a win ends with WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER. Your games, wins, kills and win rate are saved in the browser. Think of it as a practice range for drop-and-loot instincts, not a replacement for your Fortnite account.

Fortnite habits that work here — and three that don’t
- Hot drops are cold here: Bots spread out, so there is rarely a fight on landing. Drop on the biggest cluster of houses and loot calmly — that is where rifles, ammo and armour stack up.
- No building: fight from real cover: Your Zero Build instincts apply. Hold a doorway or an upper-floor window and make bots cross open ground to reach you.
- Match ammo to gun: There are three kinds: 5.56, 7.62 and 9mm. Ammo spawns next to the gun that uses it, so grab both together.
- Heals have rules: Bandages and first aid kits refuse to work above 75 health; the med kit fills you to full. Soda and painkillers help too. Moving can interrupt a heal.
- The storm is a timer: The countdown at the top is the whole match. Rotate early along the edge of the circle on the minimap instead of racing it at the end.
- Lower the lobby on a Chromebook: The menu itself says fewer players run smoother. 5 or 10 players and Low graphics keep the frame rate up.

Pro tip: Treat your first match like a Zero Build warm-up: 10 players, Normal bots, land on the biggest cluster of roofs, and never heal in the open.
